LTSave Names Laura Alspaugh Chief Investment Officer
Boston, MA, December 17, 2007 - LTSave, an internet-based SEC registered investment advisor that provides investment management and retirement planning services to employer, financial institution, and affinity group plan participants, today announced it has named Laura Alspaugh as its Chief Investment Officer.

Prior to joining LTSave, Ms. Alspaugh was a Senior Investment Consultant and Principal for Mercer Investment Consulting where she consulted with clients on a range of investment issues such as investment policy, asset allocation, portfolio structure, and manager research/evaluation. Laura's quantitative work at Mercer included the application of alpha/tracking error analysis in portfolio structuring. Laura's experience also includes liability driven investing and risk budgeting for large plan sponsors.
Laura added, "My experience with defined benefit plan sponsors helped me realize that the individual must become more engaged in saving and investing towards their retirement goal, similar to the way a traditional pension plan must fund its liability to pay retirement benefits. The consumer must try and estimate his financial needs for retirement, determine what his or her tolerable ranges around that requirement are, and then behave in a way that moves towards meeting that financial requirement."
She previously was a Portfolio Manager with Fleet Investment Advisors and prior to that was with Bank of New England where she held a variety of positions within the trust and custody divisions.
Ms. Alspaugh is Chartered Financial Analyst, received her MBA from Boston University and her BA from Wellesley. She lives in Brookline, MA.
